Trincao can easily go for 40m to a EPL club. So that's 20m we could have gotten.

Bird in hand, it could’ve potentially been better than 11M but at best 20M. It was an important deal to make considering Tebas & Liga continue to delay the validation of VIP revenue for FFP - rather than lost revenue for a player Bartomeu plunked 31M on. We recoup 21M in the end (10M as part of deal back to Sporting, 11M now for the 50%) + all those years of wages Bartomeu signed him too as well. Most importantly, it puts us in the black for FFP and the registrations become straightforward
This must’ve been the ace up the sleeve they left late or it took time to agree on the final numbers with Sporting, either way it gets it across the line. We have a strong squad that has been reinforced with excellent acquisitions, coupled to cantera kids that will add something only they can and upon the official 1:1 we can reinforce anywhere in the squad with the reopening of Camp Nou
From here on out, club is going to generate tremendous revenue while the sporting side dazzles and its rainbows and unicorns from there. It’s incredible work in 4 seasons from our lowest when the club was on verge of catastrophic bankruptcy

What do you mean?
I see we loaned Trincao first to Wolves for 6m.
Then he was loaned to Sporting for 3m.
Then Sporting bought 50% of the player for 18m.
That's 27m already from 2 loans and sale of half the ownership to Sporting. If Sporting pays 11m for the rest of the 50%, then it's 38m. We bought him for 31.
How do you get 21m total from all those deals? We probably take in a small profit overall. Or should be at least.

OK, but 3m loan deal before and 6m loan deal to Wolves means it's total of 27. 21 from Sporting, and 6 from Wolves.
