If the translation is correct, then he was asked about a CB signing. This wasn't a specific Martin question, yet Flick still said he trusts him even the CB role. If Flick answers like that, he means it, otherwise he could have just neutrally said "We need to discuss it with Deco". He's not from the media formed arselicker generation.

There’s a reason Valle opted for a loan last season when he never even got to play at LB due to experimentation with Gerard there

Yea that's a good point, he clearly things toni can do the Roony shop if needed, because as you said attackers are always seen as a premium unless he just really really like Martin lol.

The moment we knew we would sign Garcia, we should have told Tek, thanks and goodbye or sell Pena from minute one, double down on figuring out how to register Garcia.
