why is nobody talking here about that??
Who cares at this point. They sold football to money laundering investors, to billionaires as a toy to flex, to Qatar who still had traditional slavery 70 years ago and still has a modern variety of it today. Or to Saudi Arabia that murders journalists in embassies and imposes the death penalty on juveniles. Why should this create an outrage.

Spanish fans could abandon this by going out on the streets the same way english fans did with the Superleague. If they don't care enough, then they tolerate it, so let's fucking go!

Is it a home or away game.?

Hopefully it's a home game so we got another chance to sell the notion of the VIP seats in Miami Stadium as our own.

In all seriousness though, what a fuck for the Villarreal fans. You pay a season ticket and then they move one of your marquee matches to fuckin Miami.

Bear in mind that for a club like Villarreal, you basically buy a season ticket for two games- Real Madrid and Barcelona.

As a continuation from my last post.

Roig has come out and said all Villarreal season ticket holders will have a ticket for this match and free flights. No word on accommodation package.

Those who don't go get a 20% reduction on their season ticket.

Nice gesture but this will obviously not be the status quo going forward.

Last tangent, they should have made this fixture our home game. Just makes sense logistically.

Real Madrid firmly rejects the proposal to play the Villarreal–Barcelona match outside Spain, arguing it disrupts competitive balance

That's rich coming from a club, that demanded not to play the first game in LaLiga because they felt too tired after the Sheikh sponsored Mickey Mouse CWC and even went to court for it, but lost.

edit: Not forgetting the constant attacks on the refs to influence them.

Can't shake the feeling LL has way too many games to play and we always fight hard for the trophy which always makes it much tougher for Barca in CL.

On the other hand, it's a big title. Much prefer it this way than to play in a mickey mouse league waiting months and months for some decent games.

It's not that LL is like PL in that sense yet it has it's fair number of good, tough matches too.

However, it's such a privilege to have the luxury to be able to prioritize CL over domestic league like PSG or Bayern for instance.

Galan has filed a lawsuit against Tebas with a 51 page brief, which is available below

Offences include:
• Revealing details about the sale of VIP seats.
• Disclosing changes to the club’s financial auditors.
• Sharing information about the club’s financial situation.
• Leaking internal reports and correspondence to the Higher Sports Council.
• Stating that deleting the statement constitutes, from a legal perspective, a partial admission of breaching confidentiality.

The government must now decide whether to refer this complaint to the Administrative Sports Court (TAD), which could impose sanctions up to removal from office.
