14 - Marcus Rashford

Well, it will be "interesting" to follow him to say the least
BUT, we do need depth and he was once quite a baller - we now only have Torres as backup and Fermin in a pinch but he's not great on the wings. As long as he'll be a couple notches above Fati (which I think he'll be) and actually looks like he's interested in football (which Fati didn't look like) he'll come in handy - but he also might surprise us... still young, has talent, Flickball and that he actually looks for a challenge and wants to prove himself - would be nice!
Contract is alright I guess, sure a little high wage but on a loan without any obligations. Felix for example couldn't string together 3 good games for us of for any club he played for - Rashy actually played very well for a long stretch a couple of seasons.
Also... United not being able to utilize him means nada, everybody and their mother knows that.

So if I understand right , in the end his salary will still be 14 mil gross , all paid by us

Penalty if we don't buy him

He has other appearance bonuses very much likely to receive

Didn't this guy throw himself on a silver platter to us and United not wanting to have to do anything with him ?

Under these circumstances how do we even manage to get such a bad deal out of this trade ?

Deco is such a moron holly fuck LMAO

We should have waited until the end of window for better deal

Then Utd would be like screw it just ship him off already. This way, it's July, plenty of time to wait

Why is everyone so impressed with the Antony and Mctominay cases? It's not like they are world class players now. Antony had a nice run at Betis but that's really his level. And Mctominay shined for a meh Napoli.

United still is the bigger club when compared to Betis or Napoli.

Very few are "impressed" by Antony I think, but he sure as fuck plays a lot better for Betis than United - that's for sure.
McTominay on the other hand has actually done good, even more impressive it was for a "meh" Napoli.

Whatever... we've done some really bad transfers, but we've also done some transfers many of us thought would be shit that actually turned out great. I have a feeling Rash will be more than alright for us, until proven he's shit
Stop hating for now, if he's on 14ish million without obligations it's still ok - I hope he'll thrive in Barca and with Flick!

"Meh" Napoli won the league, so what does that make Serie A? It's like people have forgotten just how rotten McTominay was for years in the PL. (albeit United often played him as a defensive midfielder)

That's why I quoted the "meh" - because I didn't really agree.
He did more than ok for a more than ok Napoli side...

United is a strange fucking case, they fuck up everything they touch...
