If both fall through, we have a secret project in masia, we aren't ready to release to the world yet.

Project 9.

Lewandowski: 20 km/hr

:ROFLMAO:

On a more serious note, if an ageing Lewa who can't run, can't pass, can't hold-up and whose first touch is a pass to the opposition can score 42 in all comps. Imagine the kind of impact a pacy and mobile Isak can do in Flick's system.

But unfortunately Barca is broke and even if top EPL clubs don't need him next summer, there will be the likes of Bayern (replace Kane), PSG (add tactical flexibility) or even Madrid (if they realize after this season they can do better with a proper 9) vying for him.

There were also rumours about Laporta wanting Julian Alvarez as his next marquee signing. As versatile and hardworking he is, I prefer the Eritrean over the former. Given Atletico's interest in Fermin, I wouldn't be surprised if they include him in a deal to bring in Alvarez next summer.

Isak to Barca is highly unlikely. But you know dreaming is free. :titi:

If the CN situation doesn't change this season (that seems more and more likely) we'll be in a similar situation with FFP. No chance for 150+ mil € transfer even if we would return to CN.

An extension for Lewa it is.

I hoped so we will fix it with going to Camp Nou, but since it is delayed again, maybe our first healthy year will be 2027.

Things do not look good.

With our current situation, it is increasingly likely that we go for Sesko rather than Isak.

We simply cant afford 150m on a single player, in a year when we need a CB aswell. (Inigo & Cristensen all leaving).
While also looking for a LW starter that didn't materialize this season.

I would not go for eother of them.

Make Madrid move, and wait for some superstar contract end.
If Rasford performs or we go for a new LW, while Raphinha moves to the CF role.

I see us not going for that ST role next season. But its big if.

Good post, epecially the stuff about Lewa's vastly declined all-round game and Flick's system inflating his stats. Hopefully Flick can do the same for Rashford.

Lewa will be in his zimmer frame and still starting up front for Barca at this rate.
