What should the club prioritize

Bruv, why you have two Garcia's on the bench? Joan will be a starter, Tek is on the bench. Don't break my heart like that.

And I agree our bench is ridiculously strong, except LW & LB. And that's all we need realistically.

An LCB would be a dream signing, but its a luxury one rather than a necessity one.

Lol just going off the XI that finished last season to avoid any controversy.

But I think Tek will start the season and Garcia will replace him eventually

Usual suspects overreacting as always. Did anyone actually read the article before going at Deco? He's just doing his job. SDs are constantly in contact with agents just to stay updated. Wouldn't surprise me if they were talking about other players like Maatsen, T. Araujo or N. Jackson either.

Xavi Simons can play false 9. It seems that's one of the pre-requisites for our LW signing. That we will phase out/down Lewy minutes with the rotational LW at false 9.

Xavi Simons is ex La Masia. Which means he fits our profile of sign and register inshallah by January 2026.

Surprised we didn't go for Jutgla, Mingueza and Grimmy actually.

Many people are worried right now that Ter Stegen still won’t leave the team.
Relax, he will leave.
His lifelong dream is to be number 1 in the national team at a major tournament.
If he doesn’t leave, he’ll just sit on the bench. And we’ll find the money to register García.

The squad is practically complete — of course, I wouldn’t mind a new center-back, but we have what we have.

The goalkeeper line is fully covered.

Martin on the left suits me as a backup. Yes, he’s not fast enough for the left-back spot, but he knows how to distribute the ball between the lines.
Some people advocate for Grimaldo, but I don’t understand how you can keep two players like Grimaldo and Balde who compete for the same spot in the lineup. That only happens in FIFA, and rarely in real life, because it inevitably causes locker room problems.

PSG has tons of money, but who do they have as backups for Hakimi and Mendes? I’m sure you wouldn’t even name those players.

Plus, there seems to be a candidate for the left-back position coming from the academy as well.

On the right — Koundé and García. Two defensive-minded options — exactly what Yamalya needs to maintain balance.

The midfield is stocked.

The attacking line — ideally, we’d get rid of Lewandowski and take, say, Alvarez, but Robert isn’t going anywhere. Also, Ferran has shown he can play at a top level in that position.

If you check the stats from last season — he’s in the top 3 among world-class forwards for goal contributions (excluding penalties) per 90 minutes. Same for his finishing.
Plus, he scored and assisted in really important matches. And I won’t even mention the contribution he makes without the ball.

The only position, in my opinion, that needed strengthening was the left winger. We needed a right-footed player who could provide a high volume of dribbling.

It didn’t work out with Nico — he wasn’t, in my opinion, the ideal option, but he was the best available on the market.

Paying 70+ million for a 29-year-old Diaz is absurd. Liverpool keeps fooling everyone again — they’ll dump an almost-old player for 100 million and bring in young Rodrygo, who is insanely good on the left flank.

Rashford — I’ve talked about him many times already. Plus, Rashford hasn’t really been a dribbler for a long time.
Leao — another lazy guy.

We just need to wait for an optimal option to appear on the market. If it’s dry again, we’ll have to hope Virgil or Cardoso step up.

Contact and meeting is different thing

No disrespect but that's a crazy long write up to settle on what 90% of us have settled on, which is we only really need a LW, because the squad is actually pretty good lol.

And what I've said said from day 1, GK, ST/LW.

The 10% that still think we need a major overall,( they know themselves). Nothing we can do about that fantasy world

I'm ashamed that even I belived for a second we could bring someone for 60 mil this summer. I get it now, there is no chance for something similar and I'll be happy if they can pull off registering Garcia in the end. I don't think even that would be easy, it will be another shitshow like with Olmo. Thank God Nico rejected us, how would they register him if the rumors about CN are true? No way.

It's getting very likely that we'll get a huge humiliation in September and we'll be playing games outside Barcelona or in that small Cruyff Stadium the whole season (at least in CL, I don't know if the rules in LL allow us to return midseason).

Don Juan Laporta Estruch

Basta yaaaaaaa, Cabron ! y Bona nit 🥂
Bakayoko had a great season 2 seasons ago when he was good enough to be linked to Liverpool, but he fell off completely last year.

Was not even good enough to be first choice for PSV at times, and can only play as a right winger.

Not even good enough to command a starting position in a geriatric Belgium side, either.

Could revive his career in the Buli, but safe to say we've not missed out there.
