True, but his fans have always forced the issue more about what he wins than how he wins it.

Remember them trying to claim he had a similar tournament at Euro 2016 to Maradona in Mexico 86 based on similar stats? In their demented minds that vindicates Saudi football and by extension him, even though Al Nassr are a worse team than Hilal and would likely get destroyed by City.

Yeah good point but it does make sense to push stats when it comes to Ronaldo, because his stats are really good, so it's smart to push them. Sadly any person who actually watched football unbiased knows Messi is better. Hah.
