Ronaldo was woeful in both games, just in the right place at the right time for his two goals. Basically just a moment player. I am sure Yamal could score a tap in too if given license to play on the shoulder all day and wait for crosses. Thankfully he's a much more substantial player than that. Yamal's performance in the semi pisses over both of Ronaldo's performances.

He's a cheap one-dimensional player and Portugal will pay for it if they start him in the World Cup.

Btw last week Temptation said this would be forgotten after a week even if Portugal win it. It's nice to win but it means fuck all, and was the same when France and Spain won it.

This guy is way too overrated and has too many obsessive fans who defend him like he's their dad, desperately twisting every argument in his favour. It's cringe and evidence of the celebrity worship in our society. Messi has some obsessive fanboys too, but nothing like this guy's, despite Messi being a way better player. Even commentators in UK don't lick Messi's arse during games the way they do Ronaldo's. Last year against Slovenia Ronaldo was the worst player on the park yet Keown and the other commentator were still talking like the other 21 players didn't exist.

Then look at the Turkey game where idiots were getting on the park to get selfies with him.

You are a good guy mate but deep down you know this sort of hyper-extreme idol worship is NOT a good thing for the game. He's just a man, and a very flawed one at that.

Thanks, it was only a couple of days and I thought about not posting again anyway. It was very easy for me not to post, barely missed it (though that could be because there was no real big football on).

I will still post but a lot more moderately. And yeah, Tempt is on ignore for good now. I didn't see what anyone said anywhere so assume I was banned for our little spat with him. Won't happen again.

No, that's why I feel bad and apologized.

But as you see above, the trolls won't stop their baiting (as evidenced by Rassvet above). Best solution IMO is to ignore them till they up their baiting antics to the level where the moderators have no choice but to ban them.

I deleted the post because I then went on your profile and saw from your history you were still posting, lol. You got it before I deleted it.

No hard feelings at all - I like you a lot and consider you a funny, knowledgeable and good dude. I am glad you didn't get banned.

Truth be told I did overstep the mark a bit and 2 days is probably less than I deserved. It warranted more. Posting photos of Indians and saying they are Tempt when he isn't even online is below the belt and really just a bit of 'revenge' for when he and delancey were insulting me unprovoked.

Rassvet is a good guy but he won't stop with the baits, you are right. He knows what he is doing and he frames and writes things in a provoking way all the time on these subjects. Other times he is fine but he loves to stoke the fire on controversial football subjects. Like you say best to ignore it and not let it bother us.

I don't want to put Rassvet on ignore as I like some of his posts, and he is a good guy when not trolling - just wish I wasn't annoyed by some of his more trolling posts.

But overall, don't feel bad - I was worse than you in slagging Tempt that night so it is cool. I wouldn't want you to be banned anyway.
