The tears are absolutely hilarious and much better than the actual trophy. Especially from the 2 short 40 year old virgins. Keep crying and sucking each other's limp dicks off.

Living rent free in their heads as always. Whether I make a post or not. Hahahahahaha.

Well done Portugal.

Not a trophy that matters much obviously but still a great effort by both the teams. Great for the squad morale. Nice thing to win.

Mendes is now the best LB in the world for sure. He's unreal. This Portugal side clearly has a lot of talent and can be up there as favourites for the US WC.

Martinez will stay now which might be a problem though.

Really happy for @Fati_Future_BallonDor. The nicest person on the forum who fully deserves it. As a Ronaldo fan the last few years have been really tough for him. Enjoy and let the haters cry. 👍🏻

Martinez:

"Very proud. Finals are important to win. You need to be able to suffer as a team, to be resilient. To believe and keep going when Spain scores. We came back and showed a personality that was incredible. We are talking about a team that has a lot of experience in playing finals. I loved our attitude. Having the ability to grow during the game. I think we deserved to win the trophy," Martinez said.

The coach highlighted the importance of the entire squad's contribution beyond the starting eleven. "It's important to have more than 11 players. It was a very physically demanding game, but I think it was even more demanding mentally. We couldn't try to win the ball without knowing how and open up space for Spain.

"We always worked with very good ideas. We showed, when we had the ball, that we had a clear idea of how to create danger. The players on the bench came on and once again helped the final performance."

Addressing the off-field noise around his position, Martinez said, "Noise is noise. We know the coach's position. There are opinions that are heartfelt, malicious. It's a shame because we are all working together for Portuguese football. Today was a demonstration of that. We have a team to be proud of."

Not sure if DLF did these changes just to keep the players motivated ahead of the more important tournaments in the next few years... but that was just a total WTF moment...

Fermin has showed multiple times already he can be a game changer even for 15-20 minutes... if you want to make changes thinking about penalties, Grimaldo has a great shot... not even talking about Balde being left out (but maybe in long run that will be great for us)... and at the end you bring Morata, who cannot be trusted even to get you from point A to point B barefoot when we are talking about 500 meters, the dude will just slip over a turtle or something... just terrible coaching decisions... not sure if he should be the guy for the WC, but unfortunately there is no way he will be changed, as Spain will walk their group even with me as a coach...
