One good transfer window can change alot.

We all saw that Amorim took Sporting to a very high level. A good summer can move them to Europa League qualification contention.

The most obvious sporting issue is that their youth system doesn't seem to be working. I don't know what identity they are trying to bring the lads through at, but they ain't playing football.

Now maybe someone who knows the area closer will know ( @Temptation ) but I guess City have decimated the talent of the area, while Man Utd training standards being stuff a decade or two behind.

Most of the best young local players go to city. Wider players too. Their facilities and training are apparently much better

They are a dinosaur club with outdated facilities and methods like CR7 said in the Piers Morgan interview.

Hermano, they don't look like they've got a good transfer window in them. Lol.

Imagine if our Sporting Department was dropped on it's head as a child.

That's their Sporting Department. Fucking lol.

No sane player that have options should join Man Utd unless they are offered an absurd salary, which again is a problem making it worse for Man Utd.

Offering salaries that the top players in the world are getting to only decent ones.

250m past summer
200m summer before
240m the one before that.

Ignoring that very few of these move the needle for most top sides, which in itself is major part of the problem.

Let's play a game. For another 200-250m this Summer, what could you do to turn them into a top 7 side, with a CL position at a push. Amorim stays btw.

If Forrest could almost do, and Villa some it with Emery, then surely they could with much more money and pull.

Man Utd and arsenal are perfect examples of why you should never have a manager stay at a club for too long IDC how successful he is.

The club basically took the identity of SAF and don't know what to do with him not running things anymore.

Them continuing to be bad on the pitch might not even affect their status and brand as one of the biggest (if not the biggest) club itw after Madrid.

They're like the Cowboys or Notre Dame where they took off in popularity at the right time and can withstand years or decades of struggles without their brand taking a hit.

Not true. They have already lost the prestigious status of being a United player. If doesn't mean much today compared to ten years ago.

Not to mention, they can't attract top talent anymore. Meaning the club isn't attractive.

250m?

70m - Osimhen
50m - Angelo Stiller
30m - Givaro Read
50m - Hincapie

Rumored prices for these guys in the press for what it's worth.

There's your striker, CM, RWB and CB.

Moved Amad to RW.

With 50m left I don't know what else to do.

A goalkeeper perhaps.

Add 40m for Chevalier then.

Pay Garnacho the remaining 10m to fuck off somewhere.

Although even in this hypothetical exercise all these players have been linked to clubs such as Real Madrid, Man City, Bayern, Barca, PSG.

Why would they go to Man Utd?
