Gonna say it now before we see him at Betis:
Not as bad as people make him out to be
Another victim of the rotten ship at UTD.

As with countless other examples: a bad team makes a player look worse than he really is, a good team makes a player look better than he really is

Sometimes It's good to remember what we all said before...

Imagine how toxic, retarded, media obssesed, PR driven the environment in Manchester must have been for this guy to play so much better in Betis

People want to make his redemption a La Liga slander. No, if anything it's a bad look for EPL. He's obviously a good player and showed it before in Ajax too. Nothing special, nothing anywhere close to 100m but that's where english hypejob can get you.

Its also a testament to Pellegrini's management. A lot of bum players have turned a corner there.
Isco, Bartra, Bellerin, etc.

Not the first time Betis attacking player making a success out of a player who failed at Prem club. Lo Celso the first time round comes to mind.

Antony is a quality player. Barca fans should know this as one of the few times he showed up for United, was against us.

He was very good for Ajax too, and that vs. good teams in Europe as well.
He's a player that needs confidence and a good environment though, as well as a system that works. He's not really the type of player that is going to flourish in a broken team.

Man Utd as we all know are terrible in all aspects. Toxic environment, a broken system with players struggling and various issues. Even so much Amorim is literally threatening the club to back him in trying to change it all or else he'll resign himself

If he doesn't stay at Betis he need to be really smart about his career choices.

United would prefer he resign so they don't have to buy him out. But really they need to since he'd never resign, similar to Xavi's fake resignation. Narcissists are too predictable.

Amorim is a narcissist?

There so many stupid fans including Mark Goldbridge who think the team's failure this year is almost entirely on the players and he's a good manager still. So Hamorim might want to lose the EL so United will fire him end of season before he fails again even after a good TW. Hamorim knows there plenty stupid club owners and directors will believe the BS and give him an opportunity if he's available beginning of summer.

I'm shocked how Saeed's drinking the koolaid too, he wants him to stay and "get his players."

It's not either/or - Amorim can be struggling and the players can be not good enough too. Both things can be true at once.

Amorim hasn't lived up to his reputation, but these players will never be competitive no matter who coaches them.

Antony is obviously doing better than he did there, but likely playing above himself and will revert to a more normal level next season.

The truth is likely somewhere in the middle - Antony isn't as bad as he looked at United, but nowhere near what he is performing as right now. Equally, Amorim should be doing better but these players aren't that good either.
