Ayoze Perez was available for 4m last summer. 16 goals in 28 league games for Villarreal, can play LW or ST. Really a missed opportunity as was not signing Sergi Cardona who I've mentioned a few times last year.

I think Javi Puado could be this years Ayoze on the free agent market and give a solid production to whichever team will sign him.

Rashford and Puado as cheap alterantives for attack. Much better options then Fati and Pau.
And we can then invenst more in defense and GK if needed.

Flick likes Frimpong even he does not seems like Kounde's profile, he would give us even more in attack.

Looking how far on the pitch Erci Garcia was, it is not worst case concidering money and quality you bring.

As LB I don't see much options for us, and media is really quite about this.

Yeah, was talking about last summer. I think we would be a better team by signing Ayoze and Cardona than spending 60m on Olmo.

It's nearly impossible now to make any predictions about the transfer summer. First of all we don't know if we'll be back to the 1:1 rule. I can imagine Tebas and his goons will do everything possible to deny us that as a revenge for losing the Olmo case. And even if we return, we still need to sell players first to make room.
Then the summer window could also be inflated with a dozen european teams getting around 100m for Fifa's club wc and that could make things even more difficult for us.

First of all we need to look at our own backyard, that is still unmatched in producing worldclass talents. But with Hansi we should never fear of losing focus on Masia. I'm sure he'll give promising boys a chance to show themselves in pre-season. Who would have thought that Casado and Bernal would make the jump after one summer? Maybe we get lucky again.

Imho, fuck it - if we can get Bernard on a free than get him, City might release him for free actually if we want him and he pushes... can play both wings, but he doesn't have the speed or pressing - but we'll get control and somebody who can get past his defender. But IF one of Yamal/Raphinha get injured we need a player like Bernal (or maybe Diaz). Backup to a veteran winger from Masia/B, we have some quality there - only need to find the right one to gamble on.
Midfield we're stacked, especially with Bernal back.
LB we should splurge a little on, we need a backup for Balde. Martin can stay and try another year, but as third backup.
RB we have Eric as backup.
CB? Araujo needs to gtfo, we actually need to splurge the most this summer on a CB which is a VERY important position in Flick's system and Inigo not getting younger. Christiansen can be backup and of course even Eric can step in worst case scenario.
CF we're stuck with tractor. We ain't getting a CF while Lewa still on the books at 30M in his last year. Sharktuna as backup + Olmo + Masia/B. New CF 26/27, that's when we open our wallet! But next season Lewa crashes the party, biggest fuckup he'll still be with us next season - we won't win CL with him up front, we might not even get past semi's next year.
