By the way La Liga will need to implement rules against the blatant influencing of the referees that Real did AGAIN the whole week, successfully using Real Madrid TV..anti ref hit piece? Point deduction. Only way this shit will stop, this is shameful and pathetic.
Not that I expect la liga and Tebas to do anything about it.if anything they are supporting it but what could realistically be done about it?

If anything it will only get worse now that its proven to be a succesfull pressure on refs that already blatantly favour Madrid to begin with.

I always said Messi was right about saying la liga wins were getting underrated due to the lack of cl succes. With Madrids favouring you start every season with like a 9 point deduction so that makes any win very special.

When the governing bodies (here we are talking about the capital, La Liga & RFEF) are colluding to game outcomes, it requires external intervention analogous to UN Peacekeepers - the blind leading the blind will not implement anything other than whitewashing the clear corruption

Where do you go from here honestly? It requires going to court because the club is powerless to thwart the capital - Barça has to win, in spite of the refereeing

Florentino is an idiot, and dare I say going senile.

The blatant referee pressure has killed any notion of a Super League. No one will ever trust a league led by him.

He has killed the project- twice.

Stupid because if Barcelona and Madrid actually established a closer sporting relationship and went head to head cleanly on the pitch and in the media, it would actually be immense for Spanish football. Think Rafa vs Federer.

Its too political for that with too much history though.

There's been some rumors about people inside their board not being happy with him. Which is why he's not been in the spotlight very much these last few months. He's not going to every home game either.

Could this be the fall of Florentino???

2006-esque scenario impending unless he actually spends money on new defenders.

I highly doubt it. He seems to have learned a lot from that failure. I fully expect them to do a major defense overhaul in the offseason. They have already started with TAA but expecting more. Also expecting some galactico midfield signing too

I know the rules are the rules and the RM player's arm was mostly by his side and he could do nothing about it.

But I still feel that should be a penalty. The ball looked like it was going in the net. If replays show that the ball is definitely going in the net, and the keeper will get nowhere near it, I feel it should be a penalty, even if not intentional.

However, the problem is you just cannot account for all the movements and variables in a football match (or any human endeavour) with stringent laws. There is always gonna be stuff that gets ruled out that seems very harsh.

I haven't read through the thread, but what do you guys think?

I missed the Fermin goal so cannot comment on that. Overall though Barca were the better team from what I saw, had control even when Real went two goals up, and the scoreline flattered Real.

I encountered a strange feeling watching this game. A banger. A classic. Another remarkable Barca comeback that didn't look particularly likely and which almost certainly seals us another title.

Yet I felt strangely subdued and took very little enjoyment from the spectacle before my eyes.

Upon later introspection I realised that what I was watching was one of the most disgusting pieces of corruption, being played out in broad daylight in front of hundreds of millions of viewers, that has ever been witnessed on a football field.

And it dawned on me that my subdued demeanour was down to the fact that there will come a time, where Barcelona will not be so far superior, so far better than Madrid, that it can defeat their cheating and corruption.

And that future, the future of not being beaten, but being ROBBED and CHEATED is surely not so far away.

So much wambulance not much faith in Flick replicating, possibly.

Your team took 4 big fat defeats in a season, despite having the refs do basically as you ask of them.

Back to Twitter where you can hang on to Inter's coattails, as you did with Big Brother Bayern until they also saw your true colours.
