It's kinda crazy that Valencia wasn't selected for the world cup, but two teams in Barcelona will be, and many other secondary cities.

But I guess they didn't want to risk the new stadium not getting done.

Fuck LIM though

Wouldn't mind for 5-10m. Valancia is in the shitters, and if we show interest, they will take it with both hands.

Gives us a different profile, so we can play with a more of a wingback, aka Frimpong or someone similar on RB.
This will also enable Kounde to be a CB option.
So we can theoretically just have Tah as our only CB signing. While booting Araujo.

Kinda like this suggestion.

I appreciate this kind of dedication. I am not even thinking entire career but if more of those players stayed longer at their home teams, can you imagine La Liga quality?

In ex YU league (think it was similar in Bulgaria too) we had a ban on players leaving the league before the age of 27 or something. League was quality.

Loyalty should be admired not punished.

Football fans will underrate players who stayed loyal to their clubs and then cry about the lack of loyalty in modern Football.

Who has condemned/punished his loyalty. @Andresito is just pointing to the fact that Gaya was always a player that generated interest and he was the one who refused to go.

@draconifire I actually think Gaya could cost in the 15-20M range, on something like 3-4 years contract he could solve an issue. Preferably both on the lower end of it, I can't see him being good more than 3 years.

He is a solid all around LB btw, not more offensive than Balde, not very defensive either. He is just solid.

Ohh I thought his buyout was 15m. And seeing Valancia's financial situation, I figured they would like to offload players who are high earners first and at a discount.

Anyway, we are not going to find an LB in this market for less than 15m anyway. So would take him. If he gives 2-3 years of top performance, it's worth it.
Punt in 15m for Ratiu and we have solved our backups. Good business, honestly.

Gaya would be a good signing but I think he either finishes his career at Valencia or leaves for Saudi or any place where he can cash in the most in the end.
