At this point I have cl ptsd with this team giving you hope and then giving it all away. Year after year... I dont want to watch el classico anymore cause of these pessimistic expectations. And I dont want no moral victory bs either. When you come back 2-3 you dont bottle it in the last min...

It honestly feels like this team never learns from its mistakes.

Barça were up 3-2 with just 5–6 minutes left. And what do they do? Instead of managing the game, slowing things down, and killing the tempo—like Inter did—they immediately rush to put the ball back into play. Why? What’s the point? There was no urgency, no game management, no intelligence. Just blind chaos.

Araujo – The third goal is a pure facepalm moment. Just block the ball with your foot. It's that simple. Instead, he overcommits and gets caught. The fourth goal? He was partially at fault there too—poor positioning, poor awareness.

De Jong – Officially on fraud watch. In a game where leadership and creativity were desperately needed, he offered absolutely nothing. No vision, no forward drive, no through balls. When the team plays well, he blends into the background. But when things fall apart, his absence becomes glaring.

Fort – There's a reason Flick doesn’t trust him. That wild shot from a tight angle? Completely unnecessary. Poor decision-making in a key moment.

Yamal – Had multiple chances to kill off the game. Yes, he could’ve been more clinical, but it's hard to blame him when he was carrying most of the team’s creativity. At least he tried.

Fermín – Disappointing. He was invisible for most of the match. Couldn’t get involved, couldn’t impact the game.

Martín – Mixed bag. He was the main reason Barça got back into the game, and credit for that. But by the end he looked exhausted or mentally switched off. Should have done better in the final minutes.

The referee – An absolute disgrace. Inter blatantly wasted time throughout the match—constantly delaying throw-ins, goal kicks, and restarts. Yet not a single yellow card? No consequences at all? This is supposed to be elite-level officiating?

Rafa – The engine of the team. He gave absolutely everything out there. The truth is, the team let him down today. He had very few chances to make a real impact in front of goal, but the one opportunity he did get? He buried it. You can’t really ask for more from him. Total professional, total effort.

The referee completely lost control. Time-wasting went unchecked for nearly half an hour of the game. It's infuriating because fans don’t watch football to see one team could waste so much time with dirty tricks and get away with it. This kind of performance shouldn't be anywhere near a Champions League match. Honestly, he should never officiate at this level again.

A deeply frustrating performance. The first half was a disaster. The start of the second half gave some hope. But the ending? A complete collapse.

I don’t know anymore. Every time I get my hopes up, invest my time, and truly believe that this time Barça might finally turn a corner in the Champions League—they let me down again. It’s a cycle that never ends. Hope, disappointment, repeat. I want to believe things will change, but right now, it’s hard to see how. Honestly, it’s starting to feel like I should stop emotionally supporting this team altogether—for my own peace of mind.
This post is so fkn true
Literally every Barca fan moment they scored 93rd minute

Eh the issue is not defending for last 2 mins
No the issue is defending like retards. Martin individual mistake. Araujo supposed monster strength CB got cooked by 50 year old Acerbi.

There is no issue with our defending if players have discipline. When we don't, we struggle. This is simple as that.

There is no need to push the line, to park the bus. You can just use your brain and stay calm. Unfortunately we don't have many such players. We do need some reinforcements in defense.

And Araujo has to go. Brain is needed for Flick's high line, he has no brain.

When you are tought to attack whenever you can all your life and career, you cannot just park the bus whenever you are supposed to... this is just how we play, can't everyone just get use to it...

Imagine being told to do one thing all the time and then all of a sudden you are supposed to do the opposite for 5 minutes... it just does not work that way... we had our chances winning our way but it did not happen... this is life
There are 0 excuses for not defending the lead in a CL semi the last TWO fucking minutes.

He needs to learn coffin corner goals a la Messi, would've scored.

We defended like retards but it’s enough for us to win if we just don’t go for a goal in the 93rd minute rushing to play like wtf was that

While Barca have exceeded expectations this season, based on Flick's past work, we could easily see a bit of a slide next year with Madrid rebounding. Makes this loss even more painful.

Also have to remember that they had a pretty easy knockout schedule up until this point.

Tbh. I didn't want to watch 2nd half as I wanted to avoid the stress, yelling and swearing but my son insisted (proud of him!).
We end up celebrating one of the best come-backs in in recent years. 2 minutes away from Final.
In the end, it wasn't meant to be. There were tears but feeling remains Barca were better. Once the dust settles (by tomorrow, I hope), feeling of pride will remain.

We fell like Barca should always fall if we are to fall...

Proud of this team!

I am watching all Barca's KO matches in Europe since 1994's defeat vs Milan.

And there is that feeling in the air that Barca is eternally underachieving.

There isn't a club or NT team (except Netherlands) who has the worst ratio in terms: how good you are versus how many big titles have you actually won.

Tonight was a deja vu of Barca's classical away games in Europe like vs Mou's Chelsea 2005, Mou's Inter in 2010, later Roma, Psg, Juventus, Liverpool.

Every single time we concede some wtf rookie goals.

Some will get angry at this post, but can you imagine Real Madrid losing in Europe in this way?
No. Never.

Real usually loses when they are worse than their opponents.

On the other hand, Barca loses both:
1) when we are worse than opponent
2) and when we are way better

Again, no team in Europe has ever managed to lose as many KO ties when they were better.

It is happening for 30 years.
It is not a coincidence.

As if Barca only knows how to beat Real Madrid.
If we played against RM in semis, we would have won 5:2.

But if we play against Inter, Roma, Chelsea, Liverpool = we won't play with 120% and we will lose in 90% of cases inspite of being way better.

Insane

Isn’t as bad as anfield at least we had fight

But we are the ultimate bottlers, look at the defensive shape of the team 93rd minute

We should have put the tie to rest then and there if roles reversed inzaghi would be going ballistic at his team

Icl, Ig it is just Barça’s fortunes in this competition simplified in 120 minutes. Always going behind, coming back for some hope and it all collapsing at the end.

Even before 2016, we had these blunders -

2012
2010
2005
2003
1994
1986
1975
1961
