There are clues of egoism in his play which I don't like, but it comes with being 17yo, and starring for Barcelona. He was a constant threat. he even attempted 2 Meesilike vertical 1-2 runs in the middle which didn't work but he wasn't to blame. The LB will have nightmares. Lamine was gasses in the end and Flick mistakenly removed all the support system around him.
As you said, he's only 17, and I think the hype that started surrounding him after Euro 2024 didn't do him many favors. Moreover, achieving the growth curve for any player (especially those considered as potential superstars) has a lot to do with the mental development; I think this is the area where he needs to focus on for the next year or two. Hope Hansi and his staff are well equipped to give him the guidance he needs on that front

I am not sure if the lad is developing an ego or not, nor if he is doing things on the pitch for Instagram short take videos or not. That is a discussion for another day.
What I do know is that we should all look back to how we were when we were 17. I can only speak for myself, but if I had 100 caps for Barca and had won the Euros for Spain at 17, I would have most probably been the most insufferable, humungous bellend. And, if you are being honest, so would most of you reading this, as well.
So on this front, the boy is actually doing very well so far as he seems still very likeable on and off the pitch.
