Neymar is more flashy but Hazard is a more reliable and efficient dribbler.


Hazard's dribbling style is more Messi-like. No unnecessary tricks and skills. Just pure dribbling and close control. Unreal strength and determination on the ball.

Griezmann has 2 great WC, Hazard only 1. Griezmann has 1 great Euro, Hazard has zero.

How about goals? I see Hazard only has 10 goals in 61 games played in CL. I bet most of those are in groups against minnows. Barely remember a single standout performance by Hazard in CL.

Hazard is a better dribbler than Griezmann, but that's about the only area where he ends up on top. Better scorer, better big game player, more consistent performer, better workrate and mentality, more longevity at the top, all Griezmann.

EPL hype is not enough. Hazard was a great player mostly for the domestic English league. Griezmann overshadowed him in CL.

I remember EV Barca playing vs Chelsea and Hazard performing worse than Willian on the night. I also remember MSN Barca playing vs Atletico in 2016 when Griezmann scored a double and knocked us out. That was close to peak MSN Barca, the best side in the world. Then he scored again vs Pep's Bayern in the semis the key away goal that got them into the final in Milano.

Pretty sure Neymar has better dribbling stats. Neymar has the same type of close control AND he can do tricks. He simply has more in his arsenal than Hazard, who is more limited vs parked buses. In transition Hazard was a beast, no question, albeit with questionable end product.

Hazard just lacked the same physical tenacity as Messi (who had insane strength, acceleration and agility) to be better than Neymar at dribbling.
