Sign Lewandowski then play wingers on touchline with no full backs over lapping is pointless.

If they sign Raphinha to post him wide and not allow for width of full backs more it is yet another Barca signing to then play in position havent played in. Repeat year after year as new signings are played out of position and team built for old amigos.

Badly need full backs that can provide quality into box and a threat in final third. The biggest thing team are missing and players that can do that without out giving up the basics.

Widespread reports than Bayern have started looking for a replacement contacting the likes of Kaldjzic.

Are they preparing for an exit?

This saga is gonna stretch long.

I am not so excited, from what I hear plan A is Sasa Kalajdzic, I am Ok with Lewa leaving but there really isnt a good replacement on the market

There won't be any direct replacement for an all time great forward.

The system will be tweaked and modified building more around the collective of the wingers and Muller. Things will change drastically in terms of tactical permutations and patterns of play.

Bayern wingers are literally the most selfish wingers on the planet who never pass it to the strikers.

The creativity comes from Muller.

A greater chunk of Lewandowski goals have actually been assisted by the combo of Muller, Sane, Gnabry, Coman, Kimmich, and Alphonso Davies. So you can see that he also needs creative wingers, most of kimmich assist to him was corners.

Nope. They'll have to let him play. Bayern bosses are very stingy and hate paying big wages.

Plus their entire attacking system is built on his availability around him. Either they'll have to fully tweak that or stick with it. They can't go back and forth without Lewy whenever they want.

They can't let their highest earner rot on the bench. They don't have the Real Madrid privilege at all financially.

Who said they will keep him and not play him?

I'm saying Lewa can't sopp if he stays as he will want to be in form for the WC.

Bayern will keep him if they can't replace him. And obv play him.

Difference is time was on his side last time. Pretty sure he's a bit more desperate to leave now being at the age he is.

True, and he might have to do something to force their hand, but Bayern are very stubborn too. We should set a deadline tbh. If Bayern are not willing to listen to reasonable offers move on instead of chasing him the entire summer and ending up with nada.

Darwin Nunez is rumored to cost as low as 60m so perhaps Bayern will go after him? Don't see other realistic targets for them and if that stays the case, I bet Bayern will rather keep him for another year to have a shot in the CL than selling him to us or anybody (Chelsea etc.) for 40m and using the money to get some questionable options.

I hope so. Would rather get Lewa on a free next summer. He can still be good for 4-5 years.

The 40-50 millions are better invested this summer elsewhere.
