I always get the feeling we are the "nice" club in Europe. I think the club culture overall is to not be as ruthless as Bayern or RM.

We brutalize RM pretty often still. 6-2, 5-0, 4-0, 5-1, 4-0 in the last 12 years. And a bunch of 3-0s.

Just don't go full Bayern on them...my biggest regret is that we didn't go full Bayern on Bayern in 2009.

Anyone else greedy wanting to go full 6-0 on them? We should have and could have.

Beautiful game by Barca. I have nothing but good things from this game.

Auba was just making perfect runs amazing number 9 for us.

Torres could have had 3 goals easy but glad he scored a nice one.

Dembele at this point pay the man. He is so good since Xavi has guided him.

Pedri and FDJ literally sliced apart the defense I don't know how many times. It was almost too easy and this game solidifies that De Jong is indeed 100% World Class.

Busquets played amazing and started many good moves. Shut down the whole middle of the field easily. RM only did things out wide.

Araujo is going to be an amazing player for a long time. His scoring ability off corners really makes Barca a threat in set pieces which historically has been a very weak point. His defense on Vini is too much for the Brazilian. His speed and strength. You just have to pay the man.

Pique and Eric you know what no issues at all. It's easy to attack Eric Garcia but today didn't put a foot wrong in my estimation

Jordi Alba another quality game. Allows Ferran do do so many things. Goes unnoticed often how much he does for the team.

Ter Stegen made some good early saves and besides that did the usual with very good distribution and no errors.

But XAVI, has really stamped his signature on this club. They don't just pass to pass anymore. No stagnation. We press to get the ball back, we look for the cutting passes. Not just sideways. This club is back to being the real Barca we know. I hope this is just the beginning. In 2 or 3 years we could be in another Golden Age.

Benzema was clearly missing (not just as a goalscoring threat but as a linkup player), but this was pathetic from Madrid even without him. Wtf was that?

Amazing boost for Barca though outplaying the league leaders and a Champions League quarterfinalist.

4 goals vs Simeones Atletico

4 goals vs Napoli (who at the time had
one of the best defensive record in the top 5 leagues)

4 goas vs Valencia at Mestella

4 goals vs Athletic Club

4 goals vs Osasuna

4 goals vs Real Madrid at Bernabeu

Xaviball has truly arrived.

Seriously though, Xavi looks like a near perfect coach for Barca. As a Barca fan it is enjoyable watching this team

I think for most in the forum and most barca fans in general, this was expected since he retired from active footballing duty.
The man is Mr. TikiTaka himself, he was the brain of the best team in the world, so it is only natural he was a good bet to take.

Nah, this fits better with the 4 goals pattern we have got going on :

4 goals vs Simeones Atletico

4 goals vs Napoli (who at the time had
one of the best defensive record in the top 5 leagues)

4 goas vs Valencia at Mestella

4 goals vs Athletic Club
