That term get's funnier with each season. Who even are the "heavyweights" now? Pique, Busquets, Alba? They are not happy? Oh no!

I guess the one upside of having a shitty squad is that all players are replaceable. At this point there is no real hierarchy based on skills because pretty much all the older players are already past it and we have barely anyone who could be considered untouchable. The remaining veterans aren't nearly as important as other past legends, non of these guys is a leader like Puyol or as consistently good as Messi or Xavi. They wouldn't be a big loss, they won't be an integral part of any new team and the club should make that clear. That is if the whole thing isn't just made up as usual of course.

At least when it comes to all of that Xavi has a good opportunity to establish and enforce new rules, because we're at a low point and have no real grown core that has to stay around and be happy. He's free to pick his team and whoever doesn't want to stay or accept new procedures is free to leave and someone else will take the spot without much of a problem.
