Not sure LE would want to step back into club football. International football seems the right environment for him where he can pick, choose and give opportunity to a plethora of youth and underrated players.

Still, I do think it would suit him to manage our team right now which has a ton of potential and no big egos. Pretty much a motivational managers dream, if not for the politics, pressure and media.

Isn't Spain exactly the same right now? He has hardly any player top of their career, either past it's or young potential stars. He seems to work well with both.

Yeah but less burden of expectation and politics. Plus less stressful then Barcelona.

Of course a poor World Cup and he could be out of the Spain job.

NT jobs are for guys who want to semi-retire(that's why many NT managers are old) or want an easy paycheck and not much pressure.

overall an easier job than being judged every 3 days on your performance and having to deal with club owners, agents and media.

furthermore, if you win a trophy at NT level you will be a hero in your own country and could live off it for the rest of your life.

tbh, I think both Rubiales and Lucho get along and have a lot in common.
Both are old school folks, stand out guys. I think after Lucho daughter situation he knows he has Rubiales support and it is probably mutual.
He will be perfect for us, but I won't be surprised if Lucho renewed till 2024
