Majority of players at top level have 'loyalty bonuses' in their contracts spread throughout duration of it.

Nothing unique to Barca. The size of some of them may be though.

yeah, that's i was trying to point out. most top players, at every club have that in their contracts. it isn't like bartomeu came up with this.

25% reduction is a lot, very happy with that. Imagine actually reducing 25% of the entire squad, that would genuinely be brilliant work by the board.

If he takes 25% that's a big one. Respect.. he hasn't earned nearly as much as our other amigos. He was on fairly low wages for a long time.

Well, he doesn't need to legally. But I think if he wanted to stay then he could ethically consider. Not so much for the sake of the club, but for himself.

I think also from a position of his religion, that it is not correct to earn more than you can offer in your position. It is clear with his injury induced regression that he is at a wagepoint over what he can provide.
