Just don't understand how Messi who is basically Barcelona for a lot of fans around the world can ever be a City global ambassador. It's just absurd

There's such a strong barca connection, even if he spends 2-3 years at City, I cannot possibly imagine he thinks that's a good idea. But then again, Messi has proven a few times he's not the smartest guy around..

I have to agree, but not really for family/living situation. I just don't think City and Pep would accept him running less than 7 km a match. That wouldn't fly for Pep and EPL as a whole.
