Pep Guardiola

Pep may as well take a break to recharge his batteries, there's nothing productive that can be done whilst so many players are away on international duty, it's a good chance for some of the players to rest up too.

Can any of you guys see Pep become an Alex Ferguson figure for us? It's strange, Pep encapsulates and understands Barça so well, I can't imagine us with another manager. I'd love to see him stay for many years, like Ferguson. The impact he's had has been incredible, and it's only his debut season as a first team manager. I think he's only going to get much, much better as he grows as a coach, and I think at the same time we'll grow as a club. I guess what i'm trying to say is I think he belongs here. Views? =)

His assistant Tito (or whatever his name is) said in an interview that he and Guardiola can´t stay more than 2 years, because when he works he does things to perfection and is extremley dedicated, so anything more than 2 season would be alot to handle or something of that sort.

I read in SPORT that it was 4 seasons. The question was "could Pep be our Alex Ferguson" and Tito tried to quash talk of such things. If Guardiola does turn out to be consistently successful and he gets on with the new president then could he really walk away though? I'm not sure he could.

I hope he doens't walk out on us for such a silly reason. Not everything must be done with perfection although i don't blame him i would want everything perfect if i was him.

Today was the first time I see Pep completley loose it, for a second I thought he was going to punch the ref :p

which was uncalled for really.

As much as I love Pep I cant see him as our SAF or any other manager for that matter. The pressure and demands at FCB is way too high for anyone to handle for a long time, and even if they could once we start losing everyone and everything becomes dispensable. So lets enjoy these moments while they last.
