Actually, scored and assisted vs ManU, and two assists and a goal vs Everton. Conte's tactical change fits his style. Joint assist leader for Chelsea, I believe.

Good for him, but I wasn't talking about his season-long goals and assists

I just commented on how you had plenty of almosts

Great goal.

Happy to see him finally getting his space with Conte.

He would be a better 4th option for our attack than any other player we currently have, but unfortunately he needed to go...

I do not think he needed to go per se...... I get the feeling that his was the same case as VV. I am not getting the credit that I deserve because of the size of the club, so I better go do well somewhere else and show it to the world. It's basically ego!

Had he stayed, we would have made back-to-back treble that would have remained as an insurmountable task for eternity!

So, shouldn't any player have some sort of ego? Me, Pedro, winner of the treble and scorer in CL final and semifinals, and clasicos, being the 4th wheel in Barca after what I did, basically playing when the coach wants to rest Messi, Neymar and Suarez? How is that acceptable for a player if he has some pride? Took the right call I think. Lucho doesn't have the guts to rotate MSN, or doesn't have any play to deal without them three, or even one of them.

Really is a nightmare to play with Messi, Neymar and Suarez if you are a striker. Sandro, Munir, Pedro are better off at teams where they are actually playing almost weekly. Paco will learn that soon as well and will ask to leave. Nobody likes to be a sub.

Because he can impact games and start like he is now?

It's so funny coz he played less than he did in 2014-15 and on the way to repeat just the same this year too!

Pedro played more minutes for Chelsea last season than he did for Barca in 2014/2015, and that is despite Suarez being unavailable for several months thanks to his ban.

Barca 2014/2015:
1531 minutes in the league + 398 minutes in the CL = 1929 minutes
+ 6 games in the Copa Del Rey

Chelsea 2015/2016:
2044 minutes in the league + 294 minutes in the CL = 2338 minutes
+ 5 games in the FA cup + league cup

Oh, he played 360 minutes more! That's a total 4 matches more than he did here! How great!! :p He scored more here with the lesser minutes too!

I don't remember the Barcelona faithful ever jeering at him during a match. The Chelsea fans however did jeer at him just this week! It's a different thing of course that he shut their mouth with a goal, but yeah never happened at Barca!

So, my point stands..... He was given respect here and he would have done better by staying

Hmm, let's see:

He's now a starter under Conte.
Chelsea tops the table.
Has the second most assists despite not starting at beginning of season

So basically, he is a starting forward and key player for the best team in the EPL.

Yeah, he should have stayed on the bench at FCB for his 15 minutes per game. ;)

Note that this was with Suárez out for 1/3 of the season. Pedro knew he'd get very little game time the following season.

There's a reason why Spain and Spanish teams and not England and EPL dominate World football for last 8 years.

And it's not just Barca or Real. Atlético and Sevilla are doing great in Europe as well.

No winning streaks proves nothing except teams are more equal but that's also because all the best players don't play in epl.
