Why exactly are we paying 35M for this guy? I cant see him ever becoming anything more than just a backup so his potential will surely get destroyed after warming the bench for 3-4 seasons. Stupid signing considering there are plenty of better, older and cheaper options.

He may also be one of the best 9 in Spain in a few years time. We'll see.
