Clearly, someone has not watched Real Madrid much. Pepe have been our best cb this season, if anyone has been a liability its Ramos. Pepe doesnt have the same ability with the ball as Ramos, nor does he score as many headers. But when it comes to defending, Pepe is simply better for the most part.

pepe makes his fair share of blunders. That's madrid's problem in defence, you don't know if their going to turn in an amazing performance or be a walking clown show.

Consistency is pretty important for a defender though. Whenever Real Madrid concedes a goal it just seems like Ramos is at fault more often than Pepe. I think Ramos gets overrated by people that don't actually watch him often because he scores goals and has all the superstar qualities.
