The FIFA statement of parents being brought across for 'Non footballing reasons' they have made clear relates to parents being given jobs due to their sons being signed by clubs. It doesnt matter what the jobs are.

How will the police it?

Who knows. I would guess part of the Barca ban will be to scare clubs away from doing it. If they receive a complaint and investigate clubs have broke rules they can expect similar bans to Barca.

Sounds more like a bluff. I don't think there's a way for them to prove something like that, and I bet some clubs will keep doing it.

Its not a bluff. Most of the players mentioned by FIFA in the Barcelona ban have parents that reside in Spain and FIFA has judged those parents only came for footballing reasons - their sons signing for Barcelona and have not accepted them to be legitimate signings under their rules.

Their stance wont be to prove it. Their stance will be for the parents to prove other wise. It cant be that difficult for them to prove as they seem content with the decision on the current Barca youth players.

There are plenty of ways for FIFA to find out and investigate transfers. Clubs report on one another all the time and the number of these types of transfers will drop dramatically.

I doubt many clubs will try to break the rules with a potential two year transfer ban on the table.

It costs money and resources to do all that, though. I don't think they'll spend much time after this. There's reports they are investigating rm and atletico, but I bet nothing will happen. In a few months this will die down, and many parents will find jobs overseas and no one will investigate it anymore.

The biggest thing to prevent it will be the bans.

It makes next to no sense to risk a potential 2 year ban on signing a young player when 90% never make it anyway.

I doubt it will take massive resources or money to police as there will not be a lot of clubs trying it and those that they have question marks about will have to prove it. If they cant prove it then thats their problem. Its not going to be like a court case every time.

We'll see. I doubt this will stop clubs from doing it, in the long run. This law will probably change soon, anyway.

I'm not sure to what extent other clubs have done the same thing as us but I do think that it could have affected other clubs as well, and maybe we were just the fall guy for all clubs that have employed these kind of practices. In any way, this verdict against us serves as precedence for future, similar cases and I don't see clubs taking a risk in the future for a, most likely, disappointing reward.

Monchi(Sevilla's sport director) said not long ago that for Denis to come back, Barça would have to pay a fine. Samper going to replace him was a possibility speculated by the press.

Sabadell only lasted 7 months. The players asked for his removal, due to several problems.
Among these problems, the most notorious was letting Txema Corbella go just before he retired, and the traveling problems after the game against Ajax (plane broke down, unable to get a new one, players were forced to spend an extra night in Amsterdam).
