Yannick Ferreira Carrasco

A washed up bum. Hopefully we're not insane to pay money for him.

Many other clubs get exciting talent for cheap, while we scrape the barrel for all the losers looking for one last pay day in competitive football.

I'm neither for or against Carrasco, but who do you think would be a good LW addition? Not sure if Fati will cut it out there. Ferran already looks likely to move on. Not sure if Xavi will go with Gavi every time or if that would even work.

If we had budget, then for the way Xavi plays the 433- Kvicha.

I think for the way we played versus Real though. If that formation and setup sticks, which isn't a given, then go for Kamada on a free who would suit various roles but mainly that Gavi one.

Dunno mate, is scouting dead at this club? Because every transfer feels like we just scroll trough transfermarkt for free players with experience in Europe.

Folk need to calm down on Carrasco.

All club have done is set a fee for a player that could be an option in summer to add depth to a position struggling in.

The scouting is nowhere as good as it should be and yeah agreed there's probably someone scrolling the contracts ending section on transfermarkt . In fairness it's good business to check that but we should have other ideas.

Aye when Barca sign Pedri... you dont call him an 'exciting talent' but moan about him being most over rated player in world.

Couldnt make it up.

Other top clubs who want instant success are not unearthing gems regularly with their scouting in way is made out.

Who have Real unearthed for example?

Paying huge amounts for Brazilian talents is not the same.

Don't trust anyone coming from Atletico, but he is definitely better than Ferran. Last year of contract, for 10m and mid-wages he would be a good option for the squad next season.

Fede Valverde and Casemiro were pretty cheap.

I think xavi Intends to go back to his 433, this setup is just something that gets the best of the squad as it's currently setup, eventually we will need the LF position to start producing consistent goals, can't just be on lewa & Dembele will never be a scoring winger.

If he wants goals from left side then thats not really Carrasco.

Has double figures once in his career outwith China and not scoring much for Belgium either.

Fede Valverde and Casemiro were pretty cheap.

Casimero was ten years ago and yes Valverde would be another one.

Two in ten years... and Barca in that time Pedri/Araujo in last few years.

If it was as easy as that Real wouldnt have found one in last ten years.

Think at times folk over estimate what bargains other clubs are finding.

Barca have made 40m plus on Todibo/Mina for example and more recently Jutgla made money on, could do with Abde and will see how Torre goes as he may be another one.

It is difficult to sign these 'cheaper' 15/20m type players that are doing well as they want first team football and know less likely at clubs wanting to win now.
