look up glib and trite.
tell me when he's been photo'd drunk, tell me when he misses matches due to his lifestyle, tell me when he is out through injury??
you can't because it hardly ever happens.
ronaldo is like anelka,he has some dubious traits, but football wise he's pretty much been a model pro.

of course, all the awards and plaudits he's got over the last few years have been awarded to him by manchester united fans.

oh,and messi's to small and gets kicked out of games too easily...............
(i don't believe this, just showing how easy it is to type nonsense)

;)

Thank you:smile::smile:

The biggest examples of nonsense being posted on here are the comments that have been posted by people who are foolish enough to compare Ronaldo to Messi :p

He is the perfect example of what football should not be. Acting, diving, showboating.
Barcelona play the way football should be played.

Ronaldo does not deserve to bear the colours of Barcelona

I`m proud of the results.
Why would we want a player who thinks he`s 1st, 2nd and 3rd best player in the World and who disrespected his club and the fans last summer with the Madrid transfer saga.
Besides, where would he play? Instead of Messi? No chance. Instead of Henry?
Just check the stats. Henry scored more this season and I think he`s leading in assists as well.

I have a lot of respect for ManUtd but Ronaldo is a different matter.

I wouldn't even give a used condom for him. Worst attitude in any 'professional' player, not to mention he is probably the only player alive that can be described by 6 different words for human genitalia (dick, cunt, pussy, tool, ass, asshole).

you forget didier drogba then....now he is the worst pro player for attitude me thinks...

it's not really a case of who is better than who.....ronnie is superb..he might throw his rattle out of his pram sometimes...but he's the dogs wotsits....messi is a barca hero same as ronnie is to utd fans...they are both mind blowing in different ways......a team with both lads in would be supreme....

I feel he takes away from other players. He scored the most goals last season, but wasnt he also the player with the most shots off target? And must have been the player with the most shots over all. Sammy has scored a ton of goals this season but his 'selfishness' has cost the team on many occasions. Fortunately we have created many chances so for the vast majority of matches we have scored even with eto'o trying to bite off more than he can chew.

Not to mention his attitude is a massive part of why we dont want him. That cant be stated enough. I think there isnt much in the way he reacted to his sub the other day, but in general he gives a bad name to man utd. Fcb is a més que un club; part of our philosophy is to endear ourselves to the general public. The way our players react (and this may be biased since im a culé) has been superb this season. Yes its easier to act that way when u are on top, but look at man utd when u went through that rough patch with the loss to liverpool and fulham. Your players started getting frustrated. Rooney booted the ball to the ref (definite dissent) and then punched the corner flag when he was sent off. Also for the fulham match ronaldo kept getting frustrated when his theatrical tumbles weren't rewarded by the ref. Whereas while we went through our bad patch against espanyol and atléti the only bad vibes u got from the squad was that there was a brief sentence that the ref made it tough for us vs espanyol. Other than that we got on with the game. I wouldnt have wanted to see ronaldo rolling around the place during those games. I enjoy watching players getting on with the game.

Not to mention, ronaldo gets alot of space in the premiership. I dont know if he would be afforded that space in la liga. Im not having a dig at ronaldo for that..if he is given space then more power to him for exploiting it. But the space he is given in the epl is insane at times.

edit: as one final thing...why do so many people hate on ronaldo and also make internet videos taking the piss out of him? Messi doesnt get that hate for his skills. Becks didnt get it for his looks. Its because of his attitude..plain and simple.

he does not take away anything from anyone. If you see united playing without him, you will understand the difference ronaldo makes. If you see manchester vs. villareal home you will notice the positive affect ronaldo makes on his team.

Ronaldo does NOT get more space in the EPL, the EPL defence is much tighter, the lower leagues don't concede as much as the lower leagues of the SPL. Look at the top scorers in the EPL, it is much harder to score in the EPL than in La Liga. The highest scorer in the epl is ronaldo, who is having a "bad season", with 17 goals. Kanoute, and even Raul got more than that, and they are the 8th and 9th top scorers. This show how much the defence of the lowers sucks. Fulham ONLY conceded 32 goals this season. Nearly relegated Middles brough ONLY conceded 54 goals.

goals sporting gigon conceded: 76!!!(most in La Liga)
Goals WBA conceded: 56(most in EPL)

Defenders are shit scared of ronaldo in the epl, and they shouldnt be because if they keep backing off then he will make u pay. That doesnt mean he's crap. If teams choke xavi he plays poorly, but that doesnt mean xavi is rubbish.

By the way, stats are like a lamppost for a drunk man...more for leaning on than illumination. Look at individuals rather than picking out the number of goals gijón conceded.
