Historically Belgium's a weak footballing nation. Such a shame they wasted a once in a lifetime generation. Doubt we'll see a team this good within the next 30 or so years. They are old and slow.

Only reason they will probably make it to the next world cup is due to it expanding to 48 teams. All the more reason to start caring less and less for it. Quality is dross.

True. Morocco has many quality players. This is not same as Argentina losing to SA.

This is the last WC for many great players of this generation. Not sure the next one will be so exciting and create so many expectations. France will be favourites again I guess in 2026. Massive talent pool.
