UEFA Champions League 2014-15

This was already happening, the premier league was the best league in the world in the mid to late 2000's. They still have more money than others, they just have bad management recently, compared to back then. Every club apart from Chelsea isn't spending it's money properly and building a side good enough to win a champions league.

Yes, but the gap is growing and that is significant. It's one thing to be richer than all others by a factor of 1.5, and it is quite another to be richer than any other by a factor of 3, or 4.

The premier league is like Serie a from the 1990s, with more money than everybody and alot of stars going there. Still they didn't win all the time, real madrid, barca, Man United and bayern were still very competitive during that time.

Barca has nothing to worry about it will still be the biggest club in the world along with real and all the top stars will come here. If a player becomes a superstar in that league ourselves or real will poach them.

Nobody from Juventus :rofl1: Buffon instead of Curtois to start with. Neymar instead of Hazard. Busquets instead of Casemiro :)lol:). Pique instead of Spahic. Marcelo instead of Sandro. Chiellini instead of Godin. James Rodriguez instead of Matic.

I guess you aren't well informed. This is purely based on ratings, the players with the highest ratings are placed into it. Whoscored is a statistics site.

Hazard played less games, also vs easier opponents and that is why his rating is so high. Moreover, he completes more dribbles and whoscored always give a high rating if a player dribbles a lot.

Whatever suits your logic.

Yes, because it's much more logical to have 3 Chelsea players in the CL XI when they were knocked out in the quarter finals and have 3 in total from the 2 finalists.

Nobody with half a brain would argue against those ratings being a joke.

Serie A in the 90s dominated the European competitions. They may not have won too many CL titles (only 3, which was few considering their quality at the time) but they utterly dominated the old UEFA Cup* (along with the UEFA rankings) in which we had something like 4 all-Italian finals, and 8 Italian winners out of 11 seasons.

A team could win the league back then and then finish 11th the very next season (AC Milan) There was also a very fluid Top 4 in Serie A back then, the EPL is as rigid as the come. Comparing current EPL (which has lived mostly under the shadow of La Liga since the turn of the century) with the mighty Serie A of the 90s (for me the best league there ever was) probably says a lot about your young years, than anything else.

*The old UEFA Cup was in all probability tougher than the CL of the 90s. All the best teams in Europe (excepting the national champions of course) were in it.

I guess you're the one with half a brain. Their TOTS is purely statistical, purely ratings. The ratings are wrong because Chelsea were knocked out in the quarter finals ? What kind of logic is that ? They placed players from the teams that made it at least out of groups.

I didn't mean it in that way, of course Serie a in the 90s was better. I just meant in terms of money and many players wanting to go there.

Do you agree with that eleven as the best eleven in the champions league?

Hell no. It's purely ratings so it's obvious that players who had less games played vs lesser opponents can have better ratings. That's what these 2 can't get through their thick heads.
