Rakitic is a wc player, so is busi. BUT they should compete for ONE place in mf, not two. They're too similar and they both need two mobile mf around them. Rakitic had a decent world cup campaign with modric and brozovic, that can be compared to xavi and iniesta only on theoretical level because modric is similar to xavi in terms of holding the ball and advancing up the field, and brozovic always lurking and being the treat from behind, quality wise nowhere near iniesta. But, even with that flaws of brozovic, rakitic metronome level of display was insane, he truly is a wc player. Lets put it like this. Busquets modric vidal, or rakitic modric vidal, or busi/rakitic vidal arthur would get us in the cl final no doubt. We dont have a system, valverde is a clueless manager who, without ter stegen, pique and messi wouldnt get that far in the first place.

Not at all. Mark my words Valverde will start Busquets in most games. De Jong should be given opportunities to adapt and learn and not thrown to the start XI on day one anyway.
