Well, WC winner is a big deal, though I believe it should not be anymore.
He had a contract set for 5 years, great city and salary to live in. A chance on legacy in his country. He made his choice and it is his life to live.
But sucks for us tbh, and it feels like he gave up at this point. He is has just turned 27 and he his body look fat. At least last couple of seasons he looked fit and aggressive, just it wasn't enough anymore
Hope we can find an Arda type of deal at least. Loan him till the end of his contract while paying some portion of his salary. Just some portion

Hopefully the new president is ruthless and makes him move on.
I don’t see him wanting to leave though. So we are stuck with his inflated salary until 2023.
