La liga is garbage in comparison tbh.. Barca and Madrid aren't the force they once were, all the best managers are in the PL and soon all the best players will be (imagine if Messi had joined City, Griezmann and Suarez would be the face of la liga )

Liverpool will crumble to dust in the next few months if Matip gets injured and Alisson still can't stay fit.

Winter window is a must for Klopp to fix the CB situation. Patchwork with Gomez & Fabinho isn't enough for a jampacked schedule like this.

Tbh I think Premier League will underperform in the CL because the intense matches will make them gassed and they will probably shift focus to the Premier league expect City.

No, they will underperform, because they are drab. All these exciting matches are because defending and discipline is shit and none of the teams have consistent quality. Championship is probably even more exciting, if you look for constant goal fests. Seria A has become a high scoring league recently and it has no chances in Europe apart from occasional Juventus run.

La Liga is the lowest scoring division out of the big leagues, and one could easily argue this is a strength.

EPL in the mid 2000s was my favorite league, bar none (wasn't old enough to truly appreciate Serie A 90s) but Man United, Arsenal, Pool, Mou's Chelsea. All really entertaining sides.

Chelsea and Pool in the mid 00s isnt what one would call entertaining, they didnt concede many, but they hardly had many goal shows either.

Fast players in EPL benefit from having big spaces in front of them a lot of times, because rarely any team knows how to defend deeply, not because these forwards are great. This is why shit Atletico could put one over the great Liverpool. They were not used to overcome tactically rigid team. There are no Getafe for them in PL.

Its true that the bottom half of la liga is massively underrated compared to the bottom half of the PL,in the eyes of your average PL-follower, but for the specific Liverpool - Atletico game, 9/10 times Liverpool wins that game, Atletico rode their luck.
Getafe are a special kind of jerks though, they can make life difficult for anyone with their antics.

They also had problems against Napoli, who are hardly cattenaccio juggernauts. I think PL teams suffer from naivety that they have acquired from smelling their own farts too much. Media and over enthusiastic fans are easily excitable by the spectacle and superstars in many teams and then they get disappointing reality check against second tier la liga teams like Sevilla. Apart from one single season, it has been disasterclass in Europe for the best league in the world for last 10 years.

Apart from Klopp and Guardiola, who are the rest of the best managers? And which players are the face's of the Premier League. La Liga is a better league imo, Premier League defences are crap apart from Liverpool's and with Van Djik potentially out for a while, they will struggle too.

No joke there's a Trend that the lower Team are catching up to the big boys. Premier League , Serie A and La liga.

The youth Players are all technical and everybody is playing build up from the back. The gap between players are getting smaller each year
