SAF did it with the same shitty squad. Van Gaal has Mata and Herrera, plus the fact that he went with a mediocre Dutch side to the semis in Brazil. He knows how to utilize his teams quite well. And they don't have to worry about competing in Europe.

Spurs have signed Eric Dier from Sporting Lisbon.

Hearing JWP scored a stunner tonight. Wonder if Liverpool have put a bid in yet... :troll:

Jovetic is quality but I don't think he'll score more than 10 goals with Aguero and Dzeko on the team.

He said 18+ goals. Not 18+ goals in the PL even though it is in the PL thread.

18+ goals in all competitions(PL + CL + Carling Cup + FA Cup). If he stays injury free then he might make it. :pep:

My prediction for the league atm (may change due to signings/injuries):

1.City
2.Chelsea
3.United
4.Liverpool
5.Arsenal

Crystal palace getting rid of Tony Pulis could be the second most ridiculous decision made by a premier league board in recent years....

I think he'd have walked either way. There were rumours of rows about available transfer funds for a while.
