Paco at Barca and Paco at Dortmund is the same as Zlatan/Alexis/Yaya at Barca and after Barca.

How is it then EV's fault, yet Zlatan, Alexis and Yaya aren't Pep's fault?

Not even comparable. None of them were as terrible as Paco was for us. Alexis had good numbers for his first season, then Pep left and Alexis struggled with Tito until he had had his best season for Barca under Tata. Zlatan was good as well until Pep decided to make Messi a false nine. Finally, Yaya was a fucking beast in 08/09 until Pep rightfully decided to make Busi the starting DM. Really not comparable. Under EV, everyone is terrible. I am certain that even Messi would perform better in a proper system.

really, bbz, you're defending EV just for the sake of being a contrarian. I cannot fathom how you can still do it after two worst humiliations in the recent memory. Okay, let's say that players are bad. But they are also spineless and have no fight in them. Coach is responsible for the motivation. Simeone makes everyone a warrior, whereas EV sucks the life out of them.

Does this season not count anymore and can we not judge the lad?

Should we wait until next season for the long promised "injury free" season?
