That MD article says he's got 5 or 6 offers from various clubs. He's done really well on tour with us. We'll get a good deal for him and he'll find a good club where he'll develop as a player.

I can definitely see him being sold for 30 or 40 million in 2 or 3 years' time. He's got potential. But we have too many CBs and no non-EU spots left.

If Valverde/Abidal think he´s got potential to suceed Pique loan him to France.
If not sell him.

Surprised Newcastle are considering to fork up 2 million for a loan itself.

Considering how stingy Mike fucking Ashley is and how Benitez has been constantly talking about how Newcastle need signings in order to survive.

That's pretty good actually.

He's a good player and will probably show that playing in England. We could very well get 30 mil for him next summer. He might be good enough to play for a club like Arsenal if he reaches his potential.

Looked into this a bit.

Newcastle are probably a bit desperate as their defender, Lejeune, suffered a crucial ligament injury last week in training and will be out for months.

This wouldn't be a bad deal at all. Helps Newcastle out too.

Great deal. Unlike Mina, I think Marlon can be a solid option for us. Wasn't bad this preseason either. Time under Rafa will help him improve.

This is a good move. He's almost infinitely better than Mina and I think he has a chance of actually developing. Being on loan will give us some time to sort out our non EU problem, too.
