Bullshit. He had two defenders BEHIND him while doing a regular tackle during which he played the ball with one of his hands, while the attacker was nowhere near Bayern's goal.
By every definition of the rule, that is a regular yellow card.

It was a clear yellow. It is explained in the rules and the ref himself explained it very well after the game why he gave Neuer a yellow card.

No, he didn't. You also have to consider what would have happened had he not come out at all. Anyways, he does it at such a crazy high frequency with an incredible success rate that it doesn't even matter any more when he goofs up once in a while. He prevented far more goal scoring opportunities in the meantime.

The press is the only reason Casillas is considered a great goal keeper. How that softie won so many awards will always puzzle me. Real Madrid since young. Spain's darling. Never on the level of the likes of Buffon, Schmeichel, Kahn, etc.

Still hoping its Messi. He deserves it. World Cup is a team effort not an individual one and while Neuer was good, he was surrounded by a great team. Meanwhile Messi pretty much took Argentina to the final himself.
