Some of you guys are so myopic, and a bit silly.

Do you really think scoring in a CL is more challenging or more important than a match in La Liga vs Real or Atletico? Those matches are every bit as intense, and at the highest level. CL wins almost always swings on a couple luck plays or calls/noncalls.

Barca's CL "problems" for most of the last 3 years are because the team peaked early and rotations were bad (and key players burned out by the round of 8 or 4). Real under Zidane did peak april on, and almost every run had its controversial decisions and 50/50 ties sprinkled in. I believe 2 of those seasons they didn't even win their CL group stage where Barca did every time.

The only clear pattern has been Barca burning out too early. But the league race has shown which is the better team for some 40 or so months out of 5 years.
