Who says Messi is unfit? He has been cleared by the medical staff right. Just because he didn't train TODAY with the rest of the squad means jack shit.

Turns out he didn't train because he still feels discomfort. Anyway, it is a nice time to give Fati a chance.

Has Fati even made his B team debut yet? Why is he picked over Ruiz?

Griezmann is the only available CF from the main team, but we also have no wingers. Rafinha will 100% be in the starting line-up so we needed someone on the bench. Having both Perez and Fati doesn't make a lot of sense for me though if one of them doesn't start.

Probably because Ansu is a better goalscorer than Abel Ruiz and has played CF and LW during his career making him more versatile. He's been Barca B's best player during their pre-season even though he's a Juvenil A player. Was talks about him being promoted to Barca B and skipping Juvenil A since he's been so dominant for them this summer.

Have always supported Abel Ruiz, but the only team he seem to be able to score for are the Spanish Youth Teams, aka against players his age.

Anyway, we're most likely going to see a Roberto - Griezmann - Rafinha front line anyway lol

Hope for Junior starting uofront. Just for pace, physicality and dribbling.

Looking at the squad list... our mdifield is ridiculously overcrowded, even without Alena. Is there a chance Vidal or Rakitic leave?

Wouldn't be surprised if Ernie starts with his trademark 4-4-2 narrow formation with MAtS in goal, Semedo-Pique-Lenglet-Alba in defense, Busi-De Jong-Rakitić-Roberto (although Arthur could get some minutes) in the middle and Vidal-Griezmann as the attacking duo... Don't really see Valverde going with anything other than the most experienced players he's got at the moment after last week's blunder...

Rafinha was the only player last week who produced anything so he's surely going to start this one. Even Valverde isn't that blind.

The ideal lineup would be

Carles P, Griezmann, Rafa
Arthur, Busquets, Frenkie
Alba, Lenglet, Pique, Sergi
