Really hope we somehow, miraculously manage to offload Rafinha, Coutinho and Rakitic before the window closes. With this shit coward of a manager that we've got, they'll just take minutes from players with brighter futures. Valverde should put performances, talent and potential ahead of anything else. That's his job, to make the most out of the squad and build the best possible team for the end of the season.

Rafinha is too injury prone, and won't develop into a world class player. Coutinho is a bad fit, and has had more than enough chances. I don't think we need Rakitic and his 0.23 Goals/assists per game in the liga, and we know he will be a liability in CL KO matches. We should sell them for whatever little while we still can.

Meanwhile, players like Arthur and Todibo are young, have performed well, and can still develop into WC players with the right coaching. Todibo should be ahead of Umtiti going by their respective performances lately, and instead he gets to stay home?

Amazing how Valverde can disappoint so frequently, even tho I almost only expect the worst from him these days.
