Lionel Messi - v7

He's scrambling because he's scared Setien will beat EV's 40 points in 19 games with a shorter squad, filled with long term injuries and very few options on the bench.

Setien's already on pace to do so with 12 out of 15 points since taking charge. 10 W, 1 D, 3 L in the next 14 games (a doable feat) puts us at 85 points, which means Setien would have gotten 45 points from 19 games.

BBZ also likes to claim he isn't/wasn't all that invested in EV and that EV's defense was a reaction against Pep's ideology (whatever this means, lol). His recent posts aren't congruent with that explanation.

Either: 1) He's deliberately trolling; 2) He really in fact is a EV homer, which means we should tag any future posts about him whining about our European performances with this fact.

Seems like a lot of people here are in love with EV that they never spend one day without mentioning his name!

He's out now. So move on already.

Everybody knows people hated setien due to Rome and Liverpool's lost, had he delivered barca to at least final or even more winning, in lets say one of those two back then, NONE would say anything bad. Like, maybe, yeah, his method of training is spot on blabla.

I think (know) Messi misses the days when we had more talent on our team, more magic. Suarez when firing on some cylinders link up well with Messi. But Messi misses Iniesta, Xavi and even Neymar. That Iniesta+Messi was :worthy: That's why Cou, Dumbele et al doesn't cut it for him. He needs a team with 1-2 midfielders/forwards that can prove they can handle anything and get out of press with ease to impress Messi. But we just get scrap players and coaches since Iniesta and Xavi left.

Yes it is clear to see. Going from Henry, Eto'o, Villa, Neymar to bums like Coutinho and Dembele must hurt dawg

Lovely interview. Hopefully, we will win the CL one more time with you!

Unleash the beast vs Napoli and Madrid. These two away games in a row could be a turnaround for us and really open up some possibilities for some big titles this season, especially La Liga. I'd take a 2-2 away to Napoli and a hard fought win on Bernabeu.
