Great video of him. Unfortunately they only show his pace (omfg is he fast) and skills (omfg he goes through the defenders like a knife through butter, damn) and not his defensive skills but as a winger he could be the real deal.

Alexis was a beast in Serie A as well(And is fantastic for Chile), how would Cuadrado be an upgrade if he is coming to replace him, if the former leaves.....

Found it difficult to accept him as a replacement for Alexis since the rumours we're out at the beginning of the month, but now I don't mind actually.
Cuadrado and Deulofeu at RW and Montoya, Marquinhos and Cuadrado at RB would be really good.

Cuadrado would only come as Dani Alves' replacement and as an option to fill in as a RW every once and a while. No way are we going to replace Alexis with Cuadrado. That would make no sense.

Despite Barcelona's rumoured interest in Fiorentina right wing player Juan Cuadrado (26), the club have not yet contacted his agent. [cope]

I'm happy about that. Would be very annoying if we'd replace Dani Alves with Cuadrado imho, we already lack stability at the back, so no need to make it even worser by replacing Dani Alves with a RW.

have we learnt nothing from player running down the right hand side while dani waits near the corner flag for play to restart from centre spot? we need a rb who defends only, alba can do the attacking down the other end.

The best position for Couadrado would be like this

-----------------------Marc Andre-------------------------

-------Marqu-------------Pique---------------Benatia (rotate Bartra)

Cuadrado---------Busquets--------Iniesta--------------Alba

--------Alexis-------------Messi--------------Neymar

defends only ?? A team keeping the ball 70 minutes out of the 90 don't need a defensive right back, we need a wide extra men on both sides, to keep the defense stretched and provide extra threat inform of shooting and crossing.

If he comes, it won't be to replace Alves.

He played at (Position: Games (G) - Goals (S) - Assists (A) - General Score; WhoScored):
- LW: 11G - 7S - 3A - 8.26
- Right DM: 10G - 2S - 1A - 7.48
- AM: 4G - 1S - 1A - 7.38
- RW: 4G - 0S - 0A - 7.16
- CF: 3G - 2S - 1A - 8.24
- RB: 2G - 0S - 0S - 7.3
- CM: 1G - 0S - 2A - 9.75
- Subs: 3G - 1S - 0A - 7.06

Pass completion: 86% (Alexis 80%, Pedro 84%)
Assists: 5 (Alexis 10, Pedro 8) but
Key passes: 55 (Alexis 37, Pedro 29)

That's some versatility and skill sets.
He might just be one of Pedro or Alexis' replacement, effectively taking over what Alves does so that a more defensive RB can be used.
And imagine he has Messi, Neymar, Iniesta and Xavi on the same team.
