Not saying Firpo is any better but...how to play like Alba:

1) When trying to build out from the back make sure you are standing really far away from the cb so they struggle to pass you the ball. If they do manage to get it to you give it straight back to them but with more pace so they struggle to control it.

2) When we have midfield possession again make sure to only pass the ball backwards and with dead weight body language so if you do fuck it up you can't quickly start running back.

3) When attacking make sure you are as close to the touchline as possible so any advantage from the pass is taken away because you're so far from the box.

4) You can ONLY use your left foot

5) If you fail to receive an incredibly difficult to execute pass make sure to let everyone know you're mad by throwing your arms about instead of getting back in position.

6) Finally act like a hardman and get booked even though you are literally the smallest guy on the pitch.

You just won the thread my man

I disagree on Alba, but this is funny stuff .

This guy is a piece of shit.

A player even his own fans doesn't like.

I hope he's one of the first players to leave out of this finished bunch.

Man's in denial. Great stuff considering he's staying for a good while.

Remember when I called him out for being average and warned against people who made excuses for him at a time it was clear he's a cunt and only sells himself as this team focused good guy?

Was massively over rated last season as 'best LB in the world'.

He is a bang average player at top level with a fantastic engine and uses it to make good late runs.

Defensively and in possession he is nothing special at all and never has been.

If there's one thing I assume most everyone here and the fanbase can agree is we all hate Alba.

Just a fucking smug prick that you can't even say "Yeah he's a prick but he's our prick" Dude is just punchable really.

Thing is that we don't have any better options on the market.

Realistic ones are Ben Chilwell,Gaya and Grimaldo.

Anyone who isn't a smug primadonna is an automatic improvement. People need to let go of the 'level' criterion - Madrid or Barcelona can only build the new side on character in the post-CR-Messi era. Real have recruited primarily based on a player maturity or attachment to colours. Quality comes second to that.

He might be a horrible person, but he is our best fullback. Teams put up with the annoying thing players do because they do other good things. You probably know that, Ramos and pepe, 2 massive thugs, CR7 was a petulant crybaby sometimes and was whistled by his fans numerous times . But fans put up with it in the end because they benefited real madrid

Yea, probably. His personality has nothing to like. Cheats, dives, whines, all while being mentally weak. Has great stamina though and really took over the fullback role to play one-twos with Messi from Alves.

Ramos and Pepe are so far removed from being horrible people. They're actually cunts on the pitch in defense of the shirt more than they are off it. CR7 is the best example of an ego being 'tolerated' because the benefits were so high. Alba though? He sets no example, he isn't resilient, he's only there, not because of unquestioned quality, but due to lack of options and the club's sense of 'duty' to his señorio in the side.
