They are probably expressing some degree of schadenfreude. Ter Stegen did well against Bayern though, even when he was playing for Gladbach.
Germany were scrapping past for much of the tournament. Even their win against DEN didn't look very convincing. Not one player actually stood out. Emre Can and Younes looked good in parts. Not impressed with Ginter at all, and he only managed to reinforce my opinion I had of him previously.
POR are just a better unit, both physically and technically. I was sure they would beat GER, just didn't know it would be such a beat down.
