Absolutely no guarantee that Perez will pay up that gigantic fee a world class gk on a 4 year contract requires, in fact, the chances are next to zero. If DDG is still expecting a move, he is quite dumb. If he signed the contract because he wants to stay, then no complaints. He likely isnt that stupid, so he wants to stay. 1 season for a young gk is next to nothing anyways.

Let's just wait and see. United's interests are now secured by this contract and that is all that I care about at the moment. By the way, any news on the transfer ban?

Not that i know of, anyway, other than a backup striker, our squad is pretty much set for the next season or two, im not worried about that.

Started off like nothing, a nobody and now he's here. What he's doing now after getting in this position is irrelevant, point was how he became what he is today. Been many agents in World Football, many of them had plenty of contacts from before so it is astonishing how someone like Mendes became the most influential, powerful agent in the World.

And that isn't just because he's a money whore, because all agents are.

He is football agent ,his job is to get his clients the most money .that is his job and he has done amazing job in it

Former nightclub owner with the illusion of having made some rags to riches story on the merit of hard work & unearthing talent - not corruption with a club that is synonymous with it in FC Porto as well as the money laundering history with Gesitfute, Gazprom, Russia, Quality Sports V Investments LP & the murky world of 3rd party ownership

Success through corruption doesn't make it any less repugnant even if some will be enamoured with his bank account

Don't delude yourselves, his involvement in the game & the cabal he has formed continues to bring it into disrepute

A Man U "insider" also confirmed in an article for ESPN that he has a release clause. Either way with Mendes as his agent, he wasn't going to put himself in a bad situation and stay in United for more than a year. He'll be at Madrid next summer regardless of what Keylor does.

And for folks thinking Perez won't pay that type of money, he blew 40m on Danilo this year. There was an extra 8m after the 32 for agent and team fees so it equaled 40. Mind you, they had Carvajal who was suppose to be their RB of the future. He'll have no problem dropping that and more for De Gea.

tbh all reports b4 the official announcement said he will renew with release clause so those reports makes sense
It is a win win situation for everyone ,DDG move to the club he wants without giving up the competition for starting spot with Spain .Manu get their money and RM get their player

My money would be on the release clause being between 40-50M euros. Matches up with the valuation United have for DDG (world record fee for a keeper).
