David de Gea

I'd love us to sign him on a free in January but I don't quite trust De Gea's character anymore. It'd still be worth it though, just to see Perez fuming.

Apparently Mendes seen at Carrington today.

There's a photo of him arriving there for what's been reported as contract renewal talks.

Not a fan of Mendes, but gotta admire how he has risen up to this position in World Football. A very astute businessman.

Draxler and Gotze really wouldn't. Not all German hyped names are the real deal.

City look comfortably the best team in the country. They should be going seriously for the league and CL with the team they've assembled. Lets see what they do.

Götze? If played in the CORRECT position, which is CAM, which doesn't exist in the traditional sense at Bayern anymore, he is still a very good player who is far from having reached his peak. And I say that as someone who really doesn't like his attitute and antics at all. One the wings, he is little better than pathetic, true.
But on normal level as CAM, he WOULD be an improvement over anyone but an in-form Mata at United.

Cadena COPE reporting that Jorge Mendes is in Manchester to negotiate David de Gea's renewal. Current contract ends in June 2016.

Cope saying Mendes has met with van Gaal and the manager has told him that if he renews, De Gea will be his no.1 goalkeeper.

;Cope saying that both now know each other's intentions and negotiations will continue tomorrow in order to close the deal completely

Onda Cero as well reporting that Mendes has been in Manchester negotiating De Gea's contract. Close to agreement.

I'm a fan of Barca's no Mendes policy tbh. The guy is a super agent, have to give credit where due, but he's a pain in the ass.

Amusing that money whores like Mendes & his cartel tactics are to be admired or respected

Agents like him hurt the overall game as much as the rest of the corporatism that has taken over

Had plenty of his players in the past, not having him now doesn't mean the club have a no Mendes policy. Besides he reportedly dislikes Rosell and Bartomeu like pretty much everyone out there right now.

They're willing to deal with Raiola for Pogba and he's a much bigger pain in the ass.

Started off like nothing, a nobody and now he's here. What he's doing now after getting in this position is irrelevant, point was how he became what he is today. Been many agents in World Football, many of them had plenty of contacts from before so it is astonishing how someone like Mendes became the most influential, powerful agent in the World.

And that isn't just because he's a money whore, because all agents are.
