He always looked better in EV's setup because 8 players were sitting back, and the team was not trying to apply pressure high.
Same with Pique.

Setien played Umtiti more until the corona break, because Umtiti could support the high line better.

His advantage over Pique is that he is almost 10 yrs younger with a similar skill set.

I can't fathom why Koeman has given the green light for Eric Garcia, a player that in the best case scenario will offer the same as Pique and Lenglet, without addressing any of the areas we suffer, and the skillset we lack
