Very good performance on a dodgy looking pitch. Amazing from Messi yet again and some good performances from everyone really. Arthur was very good but still just needs to play just a few forward passes to start with then more and more each game

This was a second string Spurs side. Even then they put us under intense pressure at times.

Valverde's 442 was still defensively suspect and his substitutions were off again.

Messi was amazing and the difference. Take him out and we lose this game.

We will need massive luck to win this competition.

Good game but Tottenham took the game to us. Maybe that was EV's master plan. Play poorly before the game so the opposition thinks we are there for the taking and open up. Attack looked a lot better. Messi was exceptional and midfield actually looked like a midfield for a change. Unfortunately, the defense still looks suspect. Needs to be fixed asap.

Wow, great match in terms of offensive creativity and ball control. Also we can see the difference, when our attackers, including even Messi are pressing and giving their all. Hope this will be recurring in CL matches. Can rest in La Liga for all i care. And of course Arthur. We haven't had so much control of the flow in a long time against strong opponents and Arthur was culprit here. Calm as a python and showed great IQ with how he moved the ball. Good at pressing too.
The bad as always with defense. Although conceded goals weren't really after some awful blunder the overall play still seemed very shaky. Pique and Semedo were woeful. Slow, bad positioning and bad decisions. Semedo is just useless in linkup. He can't even make a simple passes properly. Langlet and Alba were good imo. Overall i still like that we pressed as team more and that often helped to neutralize any potential threats. Still lucky several times.
